Something in your life is asking to be understood—perhaps the way anxiety shows up in your body, the way conversations turn into conflict, or the way past experiences still shape how close you feel to the people you love.
I’m Nixaly Yakubov, a licensed clinician with over fifteen years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate communication breakdowns, interpersonal stress, parenting challenges, anger, anxiety, and trauma-related symptoms, including PTSD. I’m also a published author of multiple self-help books, written for people who want practical tools that create real change.
In our sessions, we focus on how you communicate—especially when emotions are high or words feel hard to access. We work with evidence-based strategies to support emotional regulation, reduce anxiety symptoms, and interrupt patterns that keep you feeling stuck or misunderstood.
I help you identify coping skills that fit your life, then support you in using them consistently—sometimes through structured reminders, sometimes through gentle accountability, always with intention.
Much of our work centers on understanding yourself and your partner more clearly. This may include learning how to express needs without fear, rebuilding trust within yourself and in your relationships, and developing a steadier sense of confidence.
I am currently accepting clients who are paying privately, without insurance, or are using Out-of-Network benefits.
If you would prefer to see someone in-network, we have other clinicians on our team who accept insurance and work closely with me to provide high quality therapy.
