Practical Online Therapy is owned by Clinical Director Nixaly (Leonardo) Yakubov, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, and author of multiple self-help books. 


Our mission at Practical Online Therapy is to provide high quality, effective teletherapy to clients in need of support and positive change. We offer flexible scheduling based on your needs: early morning, late evenings, daytime, afternoons, and weekends. 


Our practice provides support to people with a variety of concerns, including (but not limited to): depression, anxiety, life stressors and changes, Autism, attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), relationship problems, family conflict, parenting support, trauma/ PTSD, anger management, eating disorders, grief/ bereavement, and bullying. 


Our licensed clinicians provide individual, couples, and family therapy. They utilize a variety of evidence-based modalities, including  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Relational Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
