A: In order to provide you with the flexibility, privacy, and convenience you deserve, we only offer video conferencing sessions.
A: They are 30-60 minutes, depending on your needs.
A: Together you and your therapist will decide on a day and time that work best for you. Typically, you will meet the same day and time every week, but scheduling can vary each week if necessary. Session frequency is usually once per week but can also vary, depending on your needs.
A: You can use any smart device with an internet connection. You can attend through your browser or the "Telehealth by Simple Practice" app on your phone, tablet, or computer.
A: It's very easy to join a session! 24 hours before each session, you'll receive a link to your appointment. To join yosession, simply click on the link and it will take you to your browser or the "Telehealth by Simple Practice" app. From there, you'll enter your name and click "join video appointment".
A: You can request, cancel, or reschedule appointments through the client portal online or the app. For iPhones, search the app store for “SimplePractice Client Portal”. Currently there is no app for the Google Play store.
A: You can call or text Practical Online Therapy at 347-848-2237 so that a staff member can guide you through any issues.
A: During your sessions, your therapist will be in a private office using a private internet connection on a password protected computer. In addition, the software your therapist will use to conduct the sessions is secure and HIPAA Compliant.
A: Your information will be kept confidential under HIPAA.
A: You can pay using health insurance and/ or a credit/ debit/ or FSA card (if one is offered by your job).
